Cityline 1 and 2 have long been bus icons for the Jakarta City  as the capital city of Indonesia, with around 75% of the Transjakarta bus fleet has used Cityline Laksana.
These buses are a common sight to be  the main means of transportation for more than 10 million Jakarta residents. It could be said, the Cityline series became one of the icons of the city of Jakarta.
Because of this history and commitment, the Laksana team continues to innovate and strive to design Cityline 3 to ensure that this bus series, can continue its legacy as a hallmark of Indonesia's iconic city buses.
When designing Cityline 3, the Laksana team worked closely with industry stakeholders, such as bus operators and passengers, to ensure that the bus can accommodate everyone involved, both in its operation and for its daily maintenance to run better.

2. Modern and Iconic Design



The front cowl is designed with a simple and strong impression, to make the whole look more modern. With the appearance of the front bumper without ornaments and without fog lamps for easy maintenance.
The high windshield and the wide impression of the view serve to maximize the driver's visibility.
Cityline3 utilizes the boxy shape to maximize its capacity. In the front and rear roof sections, our team has combined a curved design shape to reduce the boxy appearance making it more aesthetically pleasing.

Good Design Indonesia is a national scale awarding event given to the best design works in Indonesia. This program is organized by the Directorate General of National Export Development (DJPEN), Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia.

3. Easy Access

Our designers take great care to emphasize the safety and comfort aspects of passengers. At the front, we have designed the dashboard to maximize driver visibility. At the center we ensure that wheelchair-bound passengers and other persons with disabilities have easy access and wide maneuverability. Our bus design prioritizes easy access and is very friendly for people with disabilities.


4. Reliable = Profitable

The Buy The Service (BTS) concept will be supported by management who carry out monitoring and evaluation using the vehicle operational system. Starting from the operational system, maintenance system, financial management system, and HR system through digitalization format in real time.

This program is the first step in implementing the Buy The Service (BTS) program which provides full subsidies for operators with better supporting facilities on buses, so that more passengers are expected to switch to public transportation modes. The Buy The Service program also provides opportunities for BUMD and small private companies to own bus operators. The Buy The Service (BTS) concept will be supported by management who carry out monitoring and evaluation using the vehicle operational system. Starting from the operational system, maintenance system, financial management system, and HR system through digitalization format in real time.

With the BTS Concept, it is very important for operators to use products that support smooth operations. The use of lightweight materials helps reduce operating costs, and we prepared Cityline 3 for eventual adoption of the design as an E-Bus.
